Upcoast Kin consists of Indie musicians, Brett and Alyssa, a brother and sister from the coast of Lake Michigan. Their music is a high-energy, eclectic mix of pop, rock, funk, ballads, and blues! When not performing, they write music, surf, and hang out with their family cat, Meatball.
Born in Michigan, Billy Ryan started playing piano at age 5. His solo acts in Japan, Canada, Mexico, Virgin Islands, Nevada, California, North Carolina were met with great reviews. Gloria Gaynor saw Billy perform in Los Angeles and was so impressed she invited him to conduct the orchestra for her show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV.
Then in 1999, he was invited to perform in Dueling Pianos full time which he enthusiastically took to right away and began performing at various Dueling Piano clubs nationwide, including cruise ships and private events. Billy says…”Dueling Pianos is all about the audience. The ultimate goal is the same. To make sure that everyone in the room feels that they took part in something unique, musical and most of all fun.”'
Previously, Billy & his wife Cindy founded their own successful Dueling Piano bar at the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Afterwards, he performed full time for nearly a decade at a Dueling Pianos bar back in Los Angeles, California.
Now, they've recently relocated back to the western Michigan area with their Quarter Horse and Labradoodle.
Billy is known for setting up a first class performance and leading any audience into an exciting sing a long, laugh a long, clap along evening of entertainment.... See MoreSee Less
